CTK Swimming by George M

Last Friday on the 13 February we had our school swimming sports. Everyone was all ready to get in and try get a placing in the races they had entered in.

Everyone was cheering for the people who were swimming in each event, if it was in the championship, the length or the carnival.

The house relay teams did really well and the teachers relay team did alright by cheating once or twice in the race, gaining victory. Everyone had a smile on their face after each race they did.

Congratulation to those that placed in their races and to all that tried their best.

Kia Ora Koutou, This is the class blog of Room 13 at Christ the King School, Christchurch, New Zealand. The purpose of this blog is to share the learning and events of the Room 13 children to a wider community. The children will publish their writing for example, in order to understand that they are writing for an audience. It would be great to have some comments on the children's work. All comments are moderated so that it is a safe learning space. As the year progresses, I will teach some of the children to become authors of the blog, which will involve posting comments and adding a variety of media. This is the first post of many. Kind Regards, Mister A
