Room 13 Speeches

This week the Room 13 children concluded presenting their speeches to the class. The quality of speeches were high and with a vast range of topics, they were also very informative. The children did encounter some nerves, however this normally was conquered a few seconds in to presenting their speech.
The children's topics were well researched and the content was informative. I spoke to the children this afternoon about the importance of showing enthusiasm when presenting their speech. If they want people to believe them, they need to express this in their presentations.

Each class will select three Year 7s and three Year 8s to present their speech for the Syndicate Speech Finals.

I have narrowed selection to four children in each year level for Room 13. The class will hear their speeches again on Friday to choose our top three.
