Goal: Chocolate Chip Cookies
Ingredients:
125g butter (softened)
⅓ cup castor sugar
½ cup brown sugar
1 egg
1 teaspoon vanilla essence
1 ½ cups self raising flour
¾ cup of chocolate chips
Materials:
Medium sized bowl
⅓, ½, ¼ and 1 cups
Teaspoon

Wooden spoon
Method:
1. Preheat the oven to 160℃ .
2. Cream the butter and sugars together with a beater.
3. Crack the egg into the bowl and add the vanilla essence into the creamed mixture and beat again.
4. Stir in the flour until it forms a dough.
5. Fold through the chocolate chips and stir until well combined.
6. Roll tablespoon like portions and place on a greased tray, leave about 5cm between so the cookies have room to spread out.
7. Squash the balls of cookie dough to about 2cm thick.
8. Place the tray into the oven and bake for 12-15 minutes or until starting to go golden around the edges.
9. Leave the cookies on the tray to cool before moving them to a wired rack.
